How to charge your Passport Cover

Learn how to properly charge your Spotminders trackable passport cover using wireless charging technology. Our passport covers use the same Qi wireless charging standard as modern smartphones, making it easy-peasy to keep your travel tracker powered up.

• Place your passport cover on top of any Qi wireless charger (same type used for phones - Apple Watch charger won't work)
• The charging area is on the back of the cover
• Look for a red LED when charging, green/blue when fully charged
• Takes about 1-2 hours for a full charge
• Move it around to find the sweet spot until you see LED on the inside part of the cover

 

What type of chargers are compatible with the passport cover?

• Any Qi wireless charging pad (the same ones used for phones)
• MagSafe chargers
• Car wireless chargers

Why isn't my passport cover charging?

If your passport cover isn't charging:

• Try different positions and move it around on the charging pad to find the "sweet spot"
• Ensure you're using a Qi wireless charger (not an Apple Watch charger)
• Look for the LED indicator on the inside part of the cover
• Leave it on the charger for 30+ minutes to see if charging begins
• Try a different wireless charger if available
