If your Tracking Card is acting up, a reset will give it a fresh start and solve most connection issues.
When to reset:
- Card won't connect to Find My app
- Shows "already linked to another Apple Account"
- Stopped updating location or responding
- Removed from Find My and won't re-pair
- Generally acting glitchy or unresponsive

Reset Steps:
- Press the button 5 times quickly in rapid succession
- On the 5th press, keep holding down for 15 seconds
- Listen for the melody — this confirms the reset worked
- Release the button when you hear the confirmation sound
If first attempt doesn't work:
- Try holding for 20 seconds instead of 15
- Press more firmly — some buttons need solid pressure
- Repeat the process 2-3 times if needed
After successful reset:
- Open Find My app → Items → Add Item → "Other Supported Item"
- Hold card close to iPhone during pairing
- Follow prompts to complete setup
Pro Tip: If you don't hear any melody during reset, the button might be defective. Try charging the card first, then attempt reset. If still no response, contact support — you may need a replacement.
